the death (of my personal) facebook
“Facebook has over 700 million users” – so what? to me that simply means 700 million people wasting their time daily.
Today (after a long time coming) I finally deactivated my personal facebook account. The final nail in the coffin came after reading this interesting article on how we waste our time with the internet. In summary it is down to the way our brains are programmed to seek new images and new things all the time.
After doing some research on my internet usage patterns, I found out that I spend 48.98% of all browsing time on facebook.
I will of course continue to maintain a facebook profile for work, and you can connect with me here.
